The other night, I gave a talk on my unique focus on marketing and promoting novels and non-fiction books, based on experience dating back to the mid-80s, and focusing on two recent marketing plans that I developed and implemented for a couple of my clients.
Following this presentation, i was asked if I could do a longer presentation; based on this, i have now developed several different presentations:
- A 45-minute presentation, with 30 minutes of how-to and 15 minutes of Q&A
- A 90-minute presentation, with 60 mintues of how-to and 30 minutes of Q&A
- A half-day presentation, which involves how-to and Q&A, as well as group and solo activities to cultivate practical book promotion and marketing strategies and tactics.
- A full-day presentation which is an extension of the half-day session, covering the same material but in greater depth
- A weekend “boot-camp” retreat presentation, which covers all aspects of book marketing and promotion, with really in-depth hands-on practical applications for writers who are serious about
The material in each of these presentations is based on my forthcoming book: Write Now! … Your One Volume Book Writing and Promoting Course: Writing, Self-Publishing and Selling YOUR BOOK to Attract New Clients and Well-Paying Speaking Gigs While Becoming a News Media Expert, as well as on decades of practical experience. The syllabus each of these presentations is wrapped around a copy of my “Master Book Marketing Plan,” which each participant receives. This outline on which this Master Plan is based is available on request – contact me at ned@barnettmarcom.com or 702-561-1167.
